Problem with Header

Hello,

I noticed that when i open a page in my site the space between the header and the first section is much higher than ii is after i scroll down and come up again.
Sending both picture to explain better what i mean.
When i open http://cervejavadia.pt/novosite2018/equipa/ i get this:

When i scroll down and then come up i get this gap (much less than the begining):

What am i doing wrong to get this?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,

          Nuno

Hey Nuno,

When the bars get fixed, a class of x-bar-fixed is added to the bars. It should automatically be removed when you scroll to the top but that event does not happen in your site. I’m not sure what is causing it.

Do you have website optimizations and customizations? Those usually are the cause of this issue. Please do the following:

  1. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Thanks.

Thank you Christian!

The only plugins active that I have are from X Pro.
Can you explain me how can I clear the cache?
Is there any option from wordpress or it’s specific for each plugin?
Best regards,

Nuno

Hi There,

If you’re using a caching plugin, you can clear your cache.

Could you please try adding the following CSS rule to your page CSS and see if that helps.

.page-id-146 .x-container.offset {
    margin: 0 auto !important;
}

Thanks!

Thank you!

I solved the problem simply putting the second bar header as Absolute (it was in Relative mode).
It’s working great now!
Sorry to wast your time…
Best regards,
