Hi,
I use the FS Poster plugin to automatically post new blog posts to Facebook from within Wordpress. FS Poster reads a {title} tag from the Wordpress post and uses it to create the post for Facebook. This works correctly for other social media accounts (e.g. Instagram), but on Facebook FS Poster creates a post that contains additional tags (obviously from Cornerstone, this doesn’t happen with other themes).
I’m aware that this is an issue in combination with an external plugin, but I’d appreciate any ideas you might have on how to avoid the incorrectly built-in tags.
I’m attaching two screenshots: 1x the tags used in FS Poster, 1x the result on Facebook
Hey @Daryl_Shaw,
This will not happen in other themes because they don’t include a page builder. Pro has a Page Builder and like other builders, it outputs shortcodes in the WordPress Content area. The solution here is not to use a Page Builder if you want to share your page on Facebook. Or, contact the FS Poster plugin author to create a meta field or get value from a meta field or Excerpt field instead of the getting the WordPress Content.
This case is not an issue with Pro.
Thanks.
