Problem with Ethos slider and Cornerstone

Hi, Today a problem developed where the Ethos slider does not appear (just a white space). If I disable Cornerstone, the slider appears but then the carousel disappears. Can you look into this? Thanks.

Thanks for writing in! Could you please try enabling your WP_DEBUG mode on your wp-config.php file and then re-visit your site to see if there are any error messages.

define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Hi, I have the debug module activated (I’ve been checking to see if Siteground’s PHP 7.1 is working okay), but the error log is currently empty.

In that case, could you please provide us with your WordPress credentials along with your FTP credentials in a secure note to check this issue.

But before doing that, please try disabling your 3rd party plugins and test this issue again. I see that you have plugins like PT content views pro. Disable all of your 3rd party plugins (keep the plugins that comes with X), make sure to purge your server cache, clear browser cache and test.

Thanks for your help on this. It turned out to be an issue of how the website was configured to work over HTTPS and more specifically the slider’s images not being called correctly. Siteground was able to resolve the issue by taking a number of steps with its optimizer plugin and the htaccess file.
