Problem with dropdowns after updating X theme and Cornerstone

Hi,

I’ve just updated X theme and Cornerstone but something funny has happened with my drop downs on this page:

All the content area dropdown boxes were the same size but now they are huge and all over the place…how can I fix this please? I can’t see any obvious way of doing it?

Also, I did have a neat list of people on this page, with the linked dropdowns but now I think they have all been disrupted by the dropdowns I think?

I have done the obvious plugin checks etc and this was all fine until I updated wp, x theme and cornerstone.

Thanks for reaching out.
It might be due to the improper update of the Cornerstone plugin. I would also suggest you follow the below steps while updating to the latest version of the Cornerstone.

1. Delete the Cornerstone existing one
2. After deletion please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.

If that does not resolve the issue, I would suggest you troubleshot a few common issues on this.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.Child Theme Related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps and you are still getting the issue, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Admin username/password

Hi, thanks.

I’ve just noticed that ‘wrap’ was clicked on in the column flexbox and that seems to have helped. Weird thing is that this wasn’t the case pre-update?

The issue I have now is that the dropdown is positioned too far left and part of the text has disappeared. What do I need to tweak to move this in a bit please?

Hi Barbara,

Please set the max-width of the Modal to 50%

If that does not work, please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

That’s worked thanks. Any idea why this page and modal went funny after the last update? I had a similar problem with the same page after a previous update.

Hello Barbara,

Glat that it works for you. Sometimes it requires clear all the cache so that the latest code renders properly. After the update, same of the element might need some additional settings as well.
