Problem with Cornerstone editor !?!?

Hi guys,
I had written a topic about a problem with the Cornerstone editor which is already closed … but the problem remains even after your recommendations on how to fix it!
Can you help again?

This is the old topic -> Problem with Cornerstone editor ?!?!

We do this "After removing the <p> tag, the headline text is now visible. Please note that when you hit the save button, your editor should be an HTML editor so that when you are going to edit it again it won’t add any <p> anymore. "
but then when we try to edit the headline again it is not on the HTML editor but it is again on the Visual editor and it puts the <p> tag again …?

Regards,
Boyan

Hi Boyan,

Thanks for reaching out.
The problem described in the previous thread does not exist on your website, I have tested the page mentioned, and seems everything is working fine. Can you please check once by clearing all types of cache? If the issue still exists, please let us know a few more information like a screenshot marked with the issue or the video.
It helps us to diagnose the problem you are having.

Thanks

Hi @tristup,
thanks for the quick reply

https://streamable.com/dra0vn this is video of what i get in the home page of the site…

Hi Boyan,

Regretfully, the streamable video is not accessible at our end. Can you please check and upload the video in Google Drive or Dropbox and share the URL in the secure note.

Thanks

Hi @tristup,

yes no problem! It’s done

Hi Boyan,

This is due to the Rich Text editor will convert the paragraph and newline into the p tag. By going ahead, I have removed the extra spaces and newline from the headline and added the hr tag into the subheadline. Please find the screenshot for the subheadline.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Hi @tristup,

thank you for your help, i applied your method and everything seems to be fine now, except for this headline -> https://prnt.sc/vqbele in home page it still does this problem …

What could it be this time?

Hey @kcreative,

The Rich text editor will be activated if a user uses it again

For your case, it’s best to disable it in X/Pro > Settings > User Preferences

Hope that helps.

Hi @christian,

it helps but for me … for the average user it won’t help especially because they are used to using the “rich text editor”
isn’t there another solution?

Hi Boyan,

Regretfully, the Rich Text Editor works like that way only. You can deactivate it if you want or else you can follow the process described before.

Thanks

Hi @tristup,

no problem if there is no other way

Thank you !

Hi Boyan, Thanks for understanding.
