Problem with activating Cornerstone

Hello again,

I recently upgraded to PRO, but at some point Cornerstone deactivated (or I probably accidentally deactivated it). When I try to reactivate it I receive the following error: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Cornerstone_Plugin_Base in /home/bloodlin/public_html/disturbeduniverse.com/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/utility/plugin-base.php on line 6

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for creating such a remarkable theme.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out.

Cornerstone is for theme only, please don’t activate it or you can also delete it. Pro theme already has it within

Thanks!

Thanks for replying. I think maybe I haven’t explained myself properly: I know I used to have a Cornerstone menu item on my Wordpress menu. I also had the option to edit using Cornerstone. The menu is no longer there (I think it went away after I upgraded to Pro). So now I can’t change the template of any of my pages or posts and I can get my sidebar to appear, as I can’t change the page template (as mentioned in this post https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/sidebar-not-appearing-in-icon1/53833)

Hopefully that makes my problem a bit clearer

Hello Paul,

Are you referring to the X or Edit in Cornerstone link in the WP Toolbar? In Pro theme, it will become “Pro” and it will have a submenu where you can edit the page. Changing the page template can be done in the editor too. Just find the gear icon in the lower left corners of the page preview.

If nothing else helps, please provide us credentials so that we can log in to your site and check your site.

Best Regards.

I was just coming back to tell you that I am an idiot  and had figured it out. Thank you for your help. I’m still kind of new to this and you guys are great and patient. Thank you.

Hey Paul,

We are just glad that you have figured it out a way to correct the said issue.
Thanks for letting us know!

Best Regards.

I spoke too soon. I’ve sent you guys a secure note with login information. Thank you, again

Hi Paul,

The thread you have provided is about setting sidebar on a blank template specific to Icon stack. It’s not gonna work on your site’s Integrity stack.

The best workaround and going to Theme Options > Layout and Design > Content Layout and change it to non-full-width.

Thanks!

Okay, now that REALLY did solve my problem. Thank you. I’m learning as I go here.

You’re most welcome!
