Problem when changing the PHP version to 7.2

Hello,

I’d like to change the PHP version of my website to 7.2 in order to increase the performance of my website. However, when I do so, I see the following error message when trying to access my website:

Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

How can I fix this problem? I tried disabling all the plugin to see if they were causing the problem, but it’s not the case.

Hey Antoine,

Did you try switching to the default WordPress theme as well to check if this issue was caused by Pro? Based on the error message, it looks like there’s a conflict with your server and WordPress itself.

Pro is also compatible with PHP 7.2. But, just note that there might be new features in your server that might cause issues with Pro and we are not the right people to troubleshoot server related issues. It is the web host technicians that are capable to trace where the issue is coming from.
