Pro, WooCommerce Product Gallery Zoom

Support
#1

Hello,

I am building a shop on the latest pro Version using the most recent update of WooCommerce.
Would really like to enable the new zoom effect when you hover over the images on the single product page.

Unfortunately I did not find a way myself, would be great if anyone could help out.

Thank you!

Hi,

The zoom effect is activated by default in the new version unless you have disable it using a code snippet in your child theme’s functions.php.

Can you check if you have this code

add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'remove_gallery_zoom', 100 );
function remove_gallery_zoom() {
     remove_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-zoom' );
}

If you have that code you can simply remove it to activate the zoom effect.

or you can also activate it using this code.

add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'add_gallery_zoom', 100 );
function add_gallery_zoom() {
     add_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-zoom' );
}

Thanks
