Pro - WooCommerce - Hover 2nd Product pic on Mouse-over

Hi Team

Have tried a few plugins that haven’t worked. Looking to be able to have the second product image (1st image in the product gallery) show on mouseover on the Shop/Category pages/archives in Woo.

Using Integrity stack. Latest everything.

Aware I can use the Grid (using that for the landing page). But want to do this for the generic Woo Shop pages.

Thanks
Sam

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!
This is something need custom development. We would encourage you to please take help from a developer to . do this. We are really sorry but this is something out of our theme support scope and we don’t have official plugin suggestion for this.

Thanks

Can you please assist in seeing if the below plugin works for Pro theme:

WooCommerce support has advised that it does still work at their end, so I want to see whether its compatible with a raw Pro site without having to completely deactivate all my plugins first.

Thanks
Sam

Hi @grannysam11,

I could not confirm if it would on your side because we have different setup. But I could guarantee you that it is working on my setup on a PRO site.

Let us know how it goes on your setup. If not working, would you mind sharing us your credentials so that I could compare it in my setup.

Thanks.

Thanks Nico

Yeah I thought it might work with Pro… must be something to do with my setup. Have provided access credentials privately.

Thanks,
Sam

Hey Sam,

Sorry for the confusion. Maybe Nico had some customization in his test site that’s why it worked on his end. But, it does not work on my end and also one of my colleagues with only Pro, WooCommerce and WooCommerce Product Image Flipper. It works on the default WordPress theme. X and Pro have some overrides for the Shop page (FUNCTIONS/GLOBAL/PLUGINS/WOOCOMMERCE.PHP) and all or one of those overrides might not be compatible with the flipper plugin. With that said, this would need custom integration which would be outside the scope of our support.

We’re sorry we offered to check your site. I believe Nico tried to go above and beyond but troubleshooting third party plugin integration issues is really outside the scope of our support. We like to know a third party plugin’s compatibility and if we see it’s not compatible like this case, we will post it in our issue tracker or as a feature request. Even with that though, we could not promise an immediate fix nor the plugin will ever be supported as I see the overrides are made specifically for the theme’s design while the flipper plugin assumes the user is using a theme without WooCommerce overrides.

Thank you for understanding and sorry for the inconvenience.

Appreciate the detailed response, Christian. Thanks, Sam
