Pro Version 6 - Page cannot be saved, as "Element _type not set" error appears

Hi Themeco team!

We’re seeing a new issue within Pro 6 upon saving a single page on a client website - the page cannot be updated, with the following error displayed:

“Uh oh! Failed to save Error saving content elements: Element _type not set:a:3:{s:8:”_bp_base";s:3:“4_4"s:7:”

A screenshot is also attached below:

I’ve attempted to deactivate and re-activate Pro, the PHP version has been updated, and I’ve attempted to troubleshoot third party plugins by disabling as many as possible during testing.

Any insights you may have to resolve this is greatly appreciated, as always!

Thank you again!

Hi @FullBlast,

Thanks for reaching out.
It will be very difficult to tell without investigating it through the WordPress admin dashboard. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi @tristup,

Thank you for having a look! I’ve attached a secure note to the initial request, which includes the site URL, and login details. We’re only seeing the issue on the homepage, while the remainder of the pages seem to be able to update still.

Thanks again for your help!

Hello @FullBlast,

I have inspected the page and it seems that a missing element #61 cannot be found. I only found the “More Infor > Column 2” as #60 and the “job board” Section as element #62. The element #61 data may have been corrupted. We recommend that you save the Sections as a template and re-create the homepage.

Best Regards.

Hey @ruenel,

Thank you for taking a look! Thanks to your investigation, we’ve now been able to restore the page, and our ability to save changes.

Thank you again!
