Pro Theme Update

I’ve inherited a site that was developed on the Pro theme. https://idcwinbig.ca/

Since we didn’t have themeco info we had to purchase a new version. The version that is on the site is Version: 2.2.5. It’s also working with a child theme.

At this point, i don’t know what steps i need to take to make sure the theme and child theme are the new version. The client has set me up with a dev server, where i’ll do the work, then they will upload the site to the live site.

To update the Pro theme please have a look at our doc to learn more about how to update the theme.

Since you are using the older version of the Pro theme, I would suggest you please take a backup of your files and database before updating the theme or WordPress and plugins. It is always a good practice to have a backup before updating the theme, plugin, or WordPress core. I would also recommend you please purge all the cache so that the latest code renders properly. You must have a look at our version compatibility page to learn more about the compatibility of extensions, WordPress, and PHP versions.
