Pro Theme update to 4.0.5 issues

Hello there. I realized some issues in the editor after update to 4.0.5.
I had no issues with this in the 3.+ version.

  1. See image:

  2. the audio element does not work in edge anymore. No probs in other browsers. It worked with previous versions of the Pro theme though

Hi Ondrej,

A few hours ago, we have released another version i.e. 4.0.6, it has some issues fixed already. Please update your theme to that version. If you are still experiencing the same issues, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

I have replicated the Audio element issue and I’ll report it to our development team.

Regarding the Grid issue, would you mind providing the URL of the page where we can see the issue?

Hey Ondrej,

I believe this is an issue in the highlight alignment if you previewed from the largest size to the tablet size (see video in the secure note). The alignment gets fixed if you open the Laptop preview first then go back to the tablet preview.

Regarding Slider Revolution, I’ll post that as a feature request to be forwarded to ThemePunch.

Regarding the changes in the theme, what I’d recommend is, don’t update your live site yet. Copy your live site to a staging server to learn the changes. This is a big update and the changes were necessary as the new Layout Builder joins the family of builders.

Regarding Retina, our theme is only provides an interface if you want a retina setup. You can disable the retina feature if you want. For more information, please see https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2012/08/towards-retina-web/

Video in the secure note? Beg your pardon, but I don’t see a secure note from you.

And I copy @retina: disabling is the way to go right now. Your link is 8 years old? Google seems not boarded the train… for 8 years… well, just sayin’

Sorry about that. It’s attached now.

We understand your concern about Retina but it remains a fact that some people need it as Retina devices still exists. You can always disable it or not use it so you use the exact image size that you need.

is there any progress on the “audio element and MS EDGE” issue discussed above? The audio control bar is still not visible in the content dock / global block on la-gioia.eu website… It works in all other browsers though.

Sorry for your inconvenience, the issue has been already reported and it has been added to our issue tracker so this issue will be queued for fixing by our development team.
