i made a mistake with this site vmalongisland.com. I didn’t make it a child theme when i started. Should i convert it. The only thing i did is just customize the contact form 7 with css and all the headers have css styleing thats all.

If you placed your custom CSS under Customizer > Custom > Global CSS or X > Theme Options > CSS, they will be safe.
Feel free to install and activate the child theme.
