PRO Theme multidomain?

Hello!

One of my customers wants to offer different views for different groups of clients. I’d like to realise this with the PRO header builder, so the site has three different headers depending on the site branch shown.

Is it possible, to access these three branches via different domains? So that domain xyz leads to the main homepage, xyz-b2b.de shows /b2b und xyz-b2c.de shows /b2c?

If I use a plugin like this:

Multiple Domain Mapping on Single Site

will it work with PRO?

If this is possible, can it be done with one licence (because it’s only one installation)?

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, it’s not going to work and that plugin is just a domain mapping plugin. It doesn’t share users, data, content, and much more. It could be possible but through custom development which you’ll have to consult to a developer.

Hi Rad,
thank you for your answer. I guess a simple domain mapping is what I need. So if I get it to work, will one licence be enough? The Backend will only be accessed with one domain, only the frontend will be accessible with three different domains.

Hi @ULinn,

If it’s the same project across the sites in multi-site installation then you’ll only need one license. But if it’s multiple projects and sites with unique domains, then you’ll need licenses as much as domain’s count.

But yes, you’ll only need validate it once in the main/root site since it only has single admin.
