Pro Theme Messing up Site

I was trying to upload the Pro theme to replace X Pro, but in doing so, it has messed up the website in a major way. Do you know why that is happening?

Hey Benjamin,

Looks like you have not installed Pro properly. Try deleting the old X Pro.

And, check if you’ve installed Pro within a sub-folder like this wp-content/themes/pro/pro. It should be wp-content/themes/pro

Ok, I deleted all of the installations of Pro and X-Pro. I then reuploaded the theme and checked the URL, that it wasn’t in a subfolder… and it still is having issues. Any other thoughts on what the problem is?

OK, I believe that I fixed that issue now and I was able to upload a fresh copy of the theme into the theme folder and activate it, but now as you can see. Nothing is there…

So I think we have a new issue. Thank you for your help!

I’m not sure what you meant by “nothing is there”. Upon checking I was able to see your Pro theme and also I have updated it (see secure note).

Now you need to head over to Pro -> Settings section and then under General section, you can grant permission for pages, posts, headers, footers which you want to control it using Pro.
