Pro Theme Error - Unable to create directory uploads/2020/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Hello,

I get the following error when trying to install the Pro theme on my new server:

Unable to create directory uploads/2020/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I am installing by going to Appearance --> Themes --> Upload New Theme. Before the .zip file imports, I receive the error.

Hey @walkerlyslu,

Thanks for writing in. That is a WordPress setup issue. Uploading a theme should go to wp-content/themes and not the uploads folder. Please contact the person who installed WordPress in your server to correct the WordPress setup.

Alternatively, if your site is new, wipe out the entire current WordPress install then a fresh copy of WordPress then install Pro again.
