I have a site where I have to make some changes at:

Thing is, whenever I try to save the content, I wait for a minute or so but the line at the top of the editor halts near the end. I tried deactivating the caching plugin and wordfence as well. Do you have any recommendations?

I tried to open your homepage and then click save. It works with no issue.
From the screenshot you have shared, error 400 is a server related one. For more information about error 400:
It might be due to the fact that your hosting service provider imposes a mod_security restrictions. Please contact them and ask for help regarding the case.
The other error is 504. This is 100% a problem of a hosting service provider too and most probably is due to lack of enough resources. For more information, see this:
