Hi, my website has the latest pro update but i cant edit my pages?

Thanks for asking.

Please try out following general solutions.

1. Please make sure that you are running PHP 7 or later on the server as running old version of PHP can have potential issues. You can refer following document for server requirement https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/1
2. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.
3. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
4. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

If nothing helps, please give us WP Admin and FTP access in a Secure Note.

All this is a little out of my cababilties in regards to tech knowladage could you have a look for me please ?

We could only provide suggestions on how to sort out the issue but we are not allowed to make the changes on your site. What I can suggest is for you to first clear your browser and your site’s cache and see if it fixes the issue. There are instances that you will have to clear your cache after updating in order for it to work correctly as some cache resources might still be used.

In case that doesn’t sort the issue, try checking for plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

The steps mentioned previously should be easy to do on your own. In case the issue persists, please provide us with your admin and FTP details in a Secure Note so that we can check further.
