Pro Theme - Cannot customize

Hello, I recently setup a new Wordpress website and I am using the Pro theme. I cannot customize the theme - when I try to go the customize menu, I get this error:
There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

I also cannot get to the Pro theme options - it just keeps the loading while doing nothing.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times without any luck. I am running the latest version of the theme with version 5.5.3 of Wordpress.

Hopefully someone can help me sort this out.

Hello Eric,

Thanks for writing in! You are getting a fatal error when opening the Customize theme option. It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

  • Testing for Plugin Conflict
  • Theme Update
  • Child Theme
  • CSS/JS Customization
  • Increasing PHP Memory Limit
  • Disabling Cache
  • Disabling CDN

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
