Pro Theme and jQuery 1.12.4 with XSS Vulnerability

Hi there,

I’m using the most recent version of the Pro Theme (2.5.4) and had just ran a Chrome Audit for my page. The Best Practice section is complaining about the used version of jQuery (1.12.4) and it’s XSS Vulnerability. Are there any plans to update to an fixed version of the framework?

Please be advised that we at Theme.co does not moodify the jQuery version of the WordPress core. 1.12.4 is the current version which WordPress is using. You can check it here:

• https://core.svn.wordpress.org/tags/5.1/wp-includes/js/jquery/
• https://plugins.twinpictures.de/wordpress-jquery-versions/

We only rely on the version being used by WordPress.
