Hi, I’m trying to get a column containing text field to animate. I researched it and am looking for Fade option in the column inspect element but it is not there.
I have set my user preferences to advanced mode always on.
Here’s what I am seeing.

The fade effect can be achieved by using a Classic Column. Below are instructions from my colleague @christopher.amirian on a related thread.
If you’ve used Pro or X before, you might have remembered that ordinary Columns (not Classic Columns) had the fade effect. But for versions starting 3.0.0 (for Pro) and 7.0.0 (for X), it’s no longer available. Fortunately, there are plans of it getting back.

Yes thank you. I hope they add those features back in soon. I use Visual Bakery because they have good transition effects. But I’d much rather use cornerstone.
