Pro slider navigation: multiple click necessary on last slide

Hi
on this page built with Pro I have a carousel slider, who shall jump to the first slide after the last slide.

On mobile view it works just fine.
But on desktop view at the last slide I have to click three times on the right arrow to get back to the first slide again.
Hope you can figure it out!
Kind regards,
Hannes

Hi Hannes,

Thanks for reaching out! Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/docs/product-updates for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue persists then please get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thanks.

Thank you.
I have made all three steps, everything is up to date and with no conflict nor caching.
But the issue remains.

The other slider on the main page has the issue, too:

It is, as if there would be two invisible slides, that must be skipped every time - in each direction.
Going forward and going backward needs two extra clicks on the arrows every time.
Very strange.
The third slider on this page is an infinite carousel - here everything works fine:

Hope you can figure it out.
Kind regards,
Hannes

Hi Hannes,

I have checked the page and found the problem you are having. There might be some different reasons behind your issue, and I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, we need to investigate the settings made for the slider. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

I have checked all of this so far.
Credentials in secure note.
Thanks a lot!

Hello @Salilou,

Please use the “Carousel” Wrap option instead.

Best Regards.

Thank you, but it should be no infinite carousel scroll, so the user notices that he has reached the last slide.
Do you suggest using the carousel option as a workaround because this is a bug?
Kind regard,
Hannes

Hi Hannes,

Specifically in your case, I would suggest you set it to the Carousel. I have checked the same in my local environment and didn’t find a similar issue. I have also created a test page on your website and added the Inline Slider which is working fine. I would suggest you please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access to the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

OK I will set this up and get back next week

Hi Hannes,

Please let us know once you set it up.

Thanks
