Is there a way to make the navbar responsive.
When looking at the navbar, if the menu is too long for the screen size, it just cuts it off.

There is no option for this except the Hide Base On Screen Size functionality. I suggest that you go to the Customize tab of the navigation inline element and hide it on the screen size which you see the problem occurs.
Then add another element such as Navigation Collapse and set it to show only on smaller screens.
