Pro - Recent Google Mobile-friendly Crawl Update - Page Loading Issues

Hi Team

I’ve come across some issues in Google Webmasters that I’d like some insight/assistance on, with regards to Pro theme and the mobile-friendliness of the page load.

As you can see below the Google test is showing two primary issues with the mobile page load (clickable elements & content width). You can also see the page load doesn’t look too flash at all as well. However, when I load up the page on different mobile screens all seems to look okay…

To run this same test please click below:

Is there a specific issue related to Pro around this? Or is this something I can adjust from this end?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Sam

Hi Sam,

Regretfully, this is not something that we could help as there are a lot of factors that are outside the control of the theme that should be taken into account to fix this. You should hire a developer to work with you closely for this.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi Paul

What I want to know (which I didn’t quite make clear in my initial Support message) is whether these issues are popping up as a default issue with the Pro theme?

Have you guys tested the skeleton theme on the Google Mobile-Friendly tester to see whether it’s theme issue, rather than a development/site-build issue?

Just checking this given the recent change to mobile-first crawling by Google. It appears the theme doesn’t load very well via the Google Tester.

Thanks
Sam

Hi There,

Sorry for the confusion here!

The skeleton theme doesn’t have any issue in mobile view. Sometimes the content, third-party plugins or Custom code causes the issue.

I can see all of your other pages are working fine in Google Webmasters testing. That means there is no issue with the theme code.

To check what is happening in the particular page please remove any custom HTML like the table you have added and any CSS or JS if is there. Also, disable third-party plugins. In this way, you can understand what exactly causing the issue.
So that you figure out the solution.

Thanks

Thanks Basanta, will do.

On behalf of my colleague, you’re welcome. Cheers!
