Pro Post Update is Crashing the Server - Cannot Revert to Cornerstone :(

Team -

A creation of Post in PRO based post, upon Saving, creates a havoc somewhere and crashes the entire site…database crash.

Displays this:
Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Have already restored it from backup 5 times. Can’t even go back to Cornerstone as that fails:

Tested with disabling CDN - same results.

Sorry to hear that you’re having this issue, and I understand the frustration.

I like to check it but it says invalid username, would you mind providing the correct one?

This issue could be related to MySQL-Sleeping issue, are you on shared hosting? There could be a limit on how many connections it can handle, or maybe there is a configured timeout which could be low, or there is a security feature in your host environment that blocks connections. But I’m not really sure which one is the real cause, it still best to contact your hosting provider and get a database error log.

I think we have just tamed the beast for now. Hitting Save multiple times before it actually saves in PRO may be the problem. Going to Cornerstone was still not possible. Can’t wait for you to release a great cumulative update for PRO.
