Pro Optimize Press Error

I posted this before expecting to get an email when there was a reply and never did. When I checked back, it had been closed so I’m opening a new thread. This time I’m including a screen video capture of the problem.

I’ll include credentials.

I read in another thread about you not supporting OptimizePress and suggesting that they need to update their code. However, I have used Pro solely for my blog pages and no other part of the site. When I open a page created with OP’s Live Editor, something from Pro is interfering with their Elements. The Pro theme shouldn’t even be involved in their template pages AFAIC. I really need someone to look at this because it’s breaking the editing of the rest of my site that I built on OP.

Hi Sean

Thanks for reaching out.
Hope you have already gone through the troubleshooting which referred to in your last thread, if not I would suggest you troubleshoot with those common issues:

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
4.CSS/JS Customization
5.Disabling Cache

If you discover that an issue is coming from custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If the above does not help and the issue still exists, we will investigate to check whether the Pro is the reason behind the issue.
Therefore, we can’t guarantee a fix but we’ll post this case to the issue tracker, so this issue will be queued for investigation by our development team.

Please remember that we are not officially supporting OptimizePress so getting in touch with the plugin author would be the recommended way to resolve an issue with the plugin as they need to update their code to prevent any incompatibility.

Thanks

Hopefully you watched the video I sent you and can see that the problem happens when Pro is the theme. I cannot reproduce the problem in any other way. I spoke to OP already and they confirm that it’s Pro that is causing the problem.

Hello Sean,

I have logged in and investigated the issue. I can confirm that there is a conflict between the Pro theme and the OP plugin. I’ve submitted this to our issue tracker so the developers will be made aware of it.

Please bear with us.

Is there any update on this? I won’t want the thread to get closed again.
Thank you.

Hello Sean,

Our developers are already investigating this issue. Once they are able to fix this, it will be updated and rolled out in our upcoming release update cycle.

Please bear with us.

Hi @earthcub,

I’m sorry that we’ve not been able to investigate this sooner. We still don’t have an answer but we’ve reached out to OptimizePress to see if we can collaborate on solving this.
