Hello!
I do most of my work on a MacBook Pro but I want to bring an iPad with me when I travel (due to size and weight). However, for starters, the “live” area does not scroll. Am I doing something wrong, or is Pro just not built for the iPad (I have the latest one - 2018)? Would an iPad Pro be better due to more processing power?

Thanks for writing in! The Cornerstone/Pro editor’s drag and drop interactions are heavily based on mouse events which don’t always translate 1:1 to touch interactions. This is one of the reasons why the editor may not work nicely in mobile touch devices. And you’re not going to have enough screen real estate to effectively do a whole lot. Our developers are already looking for ways how this can be improved for better portability and device usability. This might be fully supported in the future releases of the theme.
