Pro Not Displaying Editable Page Preview in Editor

Hi

I’ve just updated an old site to use the latest version of Pro and the content, header and footer editor previews aren’t working which makes editing content a lot harder as I’m having to effectively do it blind.

Also, the navigation isn’t working on mobile devices for any of my headers?

Please can you help me to fix these issues?

Hi Jon,

It seems that the 3rd party plugin SG Optimizer is the cause behind the issue, I went ahead and deactivate it temporarily and found both the problem is fixed. Please check and report the plugin author on this, if you need to use the said plugin.
Please remember that we really don’t offer any support or investigation related to 3rd party plugins. Please let us know if you are having any further issues.

Thanks for understanding

Hi

I’ve gone as far as deleting the SG Optimizer plugin but the issue of not being able to edit the header with a preview, still isn’t working i.e. I am still editing the header ‘blind’

Hello Jon,

Thanks for updating in! Since you are using SiteGround, could you please disable the supercacher in your hosting panel? The SuperCacher is developed by SiteGround exclusively for their customers. It increases the number of hits a site can handle and boosts the website loading speed. The SuperCacher includes 4 different caching options for maximum optimization of your websites. You can access the tool by clicking on the SuperCacher icon in your cPanel.

For more information about this, please check it out here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/supercacher/supercacher_intro.htm

It could also be caused by a plugin conflict, amongst other things. Please check out this troubleshooting article here and follow the instructions for the following sections (where appropriate):

Testing for Plugin Conflict
Child Theme
CSS/JS Customization
Disabling Cache
Disabling CDN

Hope this helps.

Hi

Now I’ve got an issue with the mobile navigation not displaying correctly on mobile devices? I’m using standard Pro theme stuff so I don’t know why I’m getting this problem?

Hello Jon,

I checked your site it seems that there a plugin conflict because of that the menu is not displaying correctly in the mobile device. I deactivated all the plugin and checked your site on the phone it is working fine. I would suggest you troubleshoot with the plugin conflict guide.

Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Hope it helps
Thanks
