Not sure where to post this but this is a suggestion to the development team to help improve Pro theme.
Inside the Pro settings, there is a setting to select the “Allowed Post Types”. This works well, but it only applies to the “Content” inside “Launch”.
That setting should also apply to the “Header” and “Footer” section of the Launch.
Once the setting is enable for pages only, the “Content” in Launch works. However the “Header” or “Footer” in my case will not work by simply increasing the memory limit. And that’s because we’re running thousands of posts which Pro will query ALL of them. This is where the memory bottleneck is.
If you want the “Header”/“Footer” to query all the posts, you should add some sort of alphabetical filtering so only the posts with the first letters you enter would appear.
In my case X works fine so I won’t be transitioning to Pro until that issue has been solved.
