[PRO] Load time and caching video of revolution slider

Hello,

I had another theme with a couple of rev sliders working in the home page. Now that I’ve changed and try configuring the rev slider it either takes too long to load or simply doesn’t load at all the video.

I checked and there is no lazy loading in RevSlider, i have no caching plugins and cloudflare is deactivated. I already increased WP memory limit

What else can I try to accelearate an guarantee load?

Helping on the other themes instead of X or Pro is beyond the scope of our theme support. If you are using any of them, I would request you to share the URL and the credentials for further investigation.

Hey There,

I’ve taken a look at this and it looks like not Revolution Slider on it’s own is adding the load time but vimeo and the connecting to it. Can you please try to remove the vimeo video and just add a slider with an image so you can compare load times. Once done please report back.

Hello ! Thank you for the help.

I tried and it with an image and it still doesn’t work. In my previous web with the same server I had it with vimeo and it charged fast and fine.

Hi Jon,

I have duplicated the Home slider and changed the video to image, which makes the slider faster to load. I would suggest you clear all types of cache and check once if the performance improved.

Hello Jon,

Please be advised that the theme does not have any control over the load time of an image or a video. It depends on the file size and how fast the server will load the file. I have checked your homepage and this is the result:
