Pro - Left / Right Bar Off Canvas

Hi,

In the Header Builder as I understand there can only be one Left or Right Bar per Header.

Is it possible to toggle the whole Left or Right Bar on/off canvas?

I understand there are independent off-canvas elements for Navigation, Cart, and Content which are completely separate; can the same toggle on/off-canvas be applied to the Left/Right Bar as a single entity?

Is it possible to create a Header Left or Right Bar which contains Elements: Navigation Dropdown, Search and Social Icons for example and would like to able to toggle all the elements in the Left/Right Bar on/off-canvas as a single entity?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

That’s not currently possible and it has complex structure than standard header or sidebar. But you may try SuperFly menu plugin, it has the same functionality with a toggable sidebar.

Thanks!

Thanks Rad, I’ll check out Superfly - would you know if there are plans to allow the same natively?

I just realised to allow a Left/Right Bar slide out - a part of the Bar must always remain visible for the toggle to be visible.

Hi there,

We do not have plans to support that functionality at the moment, but we will add a feature request in our internal system. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with our team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.

Thank you.

Thanks, I’m just testing Superfly as per Rad’s recommendation.

FYI - the version bundled is 4.3.3 - current version on Envato is 4.3.6, understand you don’t support 3rd party - would appreciate if you pass on.

  1. Wordpress Admin > Superfly Menu > Menu Panel > Extra > Search Field = Yes.
However, even though Search Field is set to Yes the Search Field does not appear in the Fullscreen menu design.

  2. Wordpress Admin > Superfly Menu > Menu Items > Font Settings > Font Settings / Section Header Styling
On both of these Font settings, the Font Size is being ignored. I’ve set to 16px, however, the generated inline style Font Size is 65px. I’ve tried changing to 2px, 7px, etc. it makes no difference - the generated inline style Font Size is 65px.

  3. There is continous logging to Console Log for availableSpace on every browser resize or click of the menu.

Hey @strobley,

For 1 and 2. I’ve replicated this in my test site so I’ll post this to our issue tracker so our development team could pass this along once they go through it.

For 3. This is normal for debugging purposes.

Thanks.

Many thanks @christian_y

Regarding point 3 - whilst I understand #3 is normal for debugging - good coding practice would normally mean this is only active when debug = true for example. Suggest you pass this on too.

Hi There,

I have updated the request. Please note that this will still undergo discussion. Thank you
