Like… it just gave up. I tried quite a few times, and it loads to give me a blank white screen/page. Pro never launches. I cleared cache, purged history etc., I can’t figure out what the deal is. A few hours ago it was working just fine.

Thanks for writing in! Blank page means you’re getting a PHP fatal error. Upon further testing, I see that you’re running PHP v5.4.45 which should be the possible cause of this issue.
We recommend to use PHP v5.6.x or higher to avoid incompatibility issues. You can ask your hosting provider to update it for you or some hosting providers allow to switch PHP version through their control panel.
Once you update PHP, make sure to clear your server cache and test. Also I see 52 active plugins on your site. In case if you still experience any issues, try deactivating your 3rd party plugins and test for a plugin conflict as well.

Done. I guess it was a combination of both the PHP and a couple of WPMU DEV plugins I was taking for a spin (I’ve still kept CustomPress though; it’s been great help to have Custom Fields and Custom Post Types, automates a lot of my work without much of an issue). Also a lot of deactivated plugins I thought of taking out. Worked.
