PRO is breaking my site when I upgrade

Two times this week I have tried to upgrade to lates version of PRO. Both times my site broke, and all I was left with was the withe page of death. I coldest even access my admin panel.
Both times I’d disabled all my plugin with mye FTP access, and it has no effect. Even when I disabled both PRO and Pro child, there was no access. I had to use backup and restore the hole site.
The second time I had tried to update all other, and was just left with PRO update. So I know for sure something is braking with this upgrade.

Please advise.

Ps. btw… My web host ( has is advising against using Cornerstone plugin because it is considered to unstable.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Pro does not require Cornerstone plugin as it will be integrated to the theme.

I have checked your site, but it will redirects back to this website ( and I do not see X/Pro installed to that site.

Could you please try following the guidelines below and see if that helps.

  • If you’re using a caching plugin, make sure to purge all server cache and disable it until you do the testing.
  • Make sure that you’re running at least PHP v5.6.x or later to avoid any WordPress related incompatibility issues. If you’re not sure what your server configurations and settings are, install a plugin like WP-Serverinfo ( and check your server info by head over to Dashboard -> WP Serverinfo area.
  • Check your PHP Max Execution Time and set it for 300 for optimal usage.
  • Check your permalink settings (General -> Permalinks) and set Postname save changes to re-create your .htaccess file.
  • If you’re using a service like CloudFlare, make sure to disable auto minification. For more information, please check this guide (

Also you can try increasing your PHP Memory limit. You can do this by editing your wp-config.php file which can be located under the root of your WordPress installation.

Add the following lines into that file.

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

You can add it before the line
/*That's all, stop editing! Happy Blogging. */
