Pro - Images Not Displaying On Safari On Mac

Hi,

I have a strange situation where images, many of which are background element images, do not display on Safari on a Mac - they are fine on Windows browsers and iOS Safari.

I am unable to replicate this, as I am a Windows user, but the client is a Mac user.

On the affected page we have an alternating grid: row 1 = text cell and image cell; row 2 has image cell and text cell,… It is the image cell which fails to show on Mac.

Most of the images are cells with background images using the Image Element version of a background image. Each cell also has a minimum height set.

Any ideas why the images are not rendering on Mac?

A second minor problem is also present, this time when viewed on iPhone. At the left edge of the images is a very faint white line which does not appear in Cornerstone and I can find no padding setting which could cause it.

Any help would be appreciated,
Christopher

Hello @whitemedia,

Thanks for writing in! I was able to replicate the issue on my Safari using MacOS. This is a browser-related issue since none of this happens in Chrome, Firefox, brave, or MS Edge. We will forward this to our developers so they can investigate this further.

Cheers.

Thanks @Ruenel. Hope to hear development can resolve it.

Many thanks,
Christopher
