For a mobile page I am creating a button and I would like the image to appear above the text (for web realestate purposes)

so if you could imagine 3 buttons across the bottom

Price availability and purchase

and above each word would be an icon of a dollar sign, calendar and shopping cart for example

not sure if there is a setting to do this- any thoughts?

That seems to be doable but you may use plugins that implements layer like Revolution slider, or with skin builder like Essential Grid or The Grid plugin. Having one element positioned with negative offset is simple and doable, but with multiple elements then it’s harder. I recommend using those plugins.
