Pro headers not assigning correctly

Good morning,

I have products that have their own headers assigned to them. However recently I have found that some are no longer linking and I am not sure why. I did not touch them and after going through the settings I cannot see what is wrong:

A good example is this page:

https://kpopsupplyco.com/product/suga-vintage-tee/

This should have a different colour breadcrumb. Here is the settings:

However it is going to the default header with these settings:

It has the ‘entire site’ set as without that the product page show the basic default header that comes with X.

Please assist - thank you!
Jason

Hi Jason,

Thanks for reaching out.
This might be an issue with renaming the Header after duplicating and also the condition is to be Product(specific) instead of Page(specific). I went ahead and duplicated the About Header and assign the header to the specific Product and it worked.

NOTE: I would suggest you not rename the Header if you are duplicating it from any existing one.
Thanks

Good afternoon and thank you for the update

the issue we would have with not renaming the header is that it has already been duplicated about 30+ times over the years already. They all worked and no randomly some are no longer assigned.

I can see your duplication worked so I copied the settings on the actual one I need to work:

https://kpopsupplyco.com/cornerstone/headers/1131

it is set to Product(specific) and still does not work. Please advise

Thank you
Jason

Hello Jason,

Is the Sugar Vintage Tee header looks like this?

What should be the expected result? When I check the header builder, I am seeing this:

I even tried adding an ID for the Breadcrumb Bar element for both headers (1131 & 2219). It is not displaying on the live view. I have a hunch that one particular header is overriding all of this.

Can we disable the WP Rocket plugin and any other caching plugin while we are troubleshooting your issue?

Thank you.

Good morning and yes you are correct, it should show:

the one it is actually displaying is:

https://kpopsupplyco.com/cornerstone/headers/2219

which is the ‘default’ one - it has the condition of ‘entire site’ but a priority of 5 - then the Sugar Vintage Tee header has a priority of -1.

The reason I did one for the ‘entire site’ was only when this bug appeared. Without this header:

https://kpopsupplyco.com/cornerstone/headers/2219

random headers such as Suga Vintage started not to show the pro header anymore, just displaying the default zero styled header you get by default.

You may disable any caching plugin to troubleshoot thank you

Kind Regards,
Jason

Hi Jason,

I have investigated it again and assigned the About Header(1) with the condition shown in my previous comment and it worked.

If you are still having the same issue, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
