Pro Header/Footer .csl templates?

Hey guys… can you please let us know if “template” functionality for Pro headers/footers is under active development yet? ie. being able to use a .csl file to import/export headers and footers?

I have a client with a VERY similar style guide across two new sites. It sure would be helpful to be able to iterate changes with them to headers and footers on one site, then export/import them to the other site as updates each time.

Please tell me this feature is coming soon? Kyle said it would be back when Pro 1.0 was released… :-((

Hi There,

This templating functionality is under development, it should be out soon, but we cannot provide an ETA so if you are already building these site I would say to do not count on it.

What you could do at the moment is to clone the whole website to a new installation and start from there.

Hi Joao,

Yes that’s what we do currently. But it only works once! I’m about to make changes to both sites now, which would be MUCH faster to do with templates.

Really looking forward to that release.

Sure, please go on with the changes. Templates will be available as it’s one of the planned feature :wink:
