Pro Header and Footer not showing up in theme options

Hi, I’ve created a header in Pro and have published this.

It’s not showing up in Pro Theme options

So I’ve had to set it manually in each page in the layout assignments section of page settings. That work around has got me this far but I don’t have a solution for the blog / posts page.

I’ve cleared the cache, disabled all 3rd party plugins (there are only 4) and nothing is changing in the theme options to show the header or the footer.

Please can you you tell me how to fix the issue of the default headers and footers being applied to all blog content?

Thanks for reaching out.
The Header and Footer option in Theme Option is for the default Header and Footer. It does not show the custom Header and Footer build through the Cornerstone.

Thanks for the quick reply. I then have 3 questions:

1. How do I set a default header and footer in Cornerstone? From reading the documentation there appears to be this option - it’s just not working in my instance. Instead on each page I create I’m having to manually go in and choose header and footer in page settings
2. How can I use the Header I created in cornerstone on the blog pages?
3. Are there short codes or a similar technique I can use within pages within cornerstone to create pages with blog post content?

Hi @davebrain,

Please find the answers to your questions below.

1. For the default footer, you don’t need to select anything. It will be set by default and shown on every page, if not overridden by any other assignment.

2. You can set the condition to the Archive > Blog as shown in the given screenshot.

3. You can use the Post elements, which shows the posts based on the Loooper Provider set. You can go through the following article on this.
