Pro editor will not always close popups

Good morning, I have the latest version of pro and have kept my plugins to a minimum

I am finding when editing any page with pro that when I use the pop ups to edit text or global css that about 70% of the time I cannot close it afterwards or select other options within itself i.e HTML and Rich Text.

I can click and drag it fine, make it different sizes but those options in its top strip are temperamental. Here are screenshots just so it makes sense the area I am talking about:

Tested in both Chrome and Safari with the same results

I look forward to your thoughts

Thank you,
Jason

Hey @hyperdrive_boom,

The username or password you provided is incorrect.

I could replicate the issue you described though but only if I move very fast. If you just move a bit slow and accurate, the options work like in the screencast below.

If that is not what you mean or the options inside the popup don’t really work, please confirm that you have done all possible solution listed in our troubleshooting article here https://theme.co/docs/common-issues. Then give us the correct login credentials.

Thanks.

Good afternoon @christian - I just double checked the login details and correct - perhaps you copied the a space in by accident

Attached is my version where I do it at different speeds - see how it reacts. Even when I slow it down it just stops sometimes.

EDIT - cannot upload mini video but still only works about 30% of the time despite the speed

Thank you

Hi Jason,

I was able to login on your website and I was able to close the popup to edit text or global CSS without any issue. I suggest that you clear your browser cache.

On the other hand, I suggest that you follow what Christian said about moving it slowly, so that the rich and text editor will work accurately. Then if you could attached a video on your end that would be great to help you better with your issue.

Thank you.

Good morning @marc_a and thank you for the reply,

I have cleared the cache and tested on Chrome, Firefox and Safari with the same issue,

Here is a 30 second screen recording of the issue:

Thank you,
Jason

Hi Jason,

Although I am not able to investigate the website due to wrong credentials, still I would suggest you troubleshoot the common issues as suggested by my colleague to recognize the reason behind your issue.

Thanks

Thank you @tristup for this update - perhaps you copied the a space in by accident, the credentials are correct and your colleague could login.

I have cleared the cache and tested on Chrome, Firefox and Safari with the same issue,

Here is a 30 second screen recording of the issue:

Thank you,
Jason

Hi Jason,

It is certainly not, the credentials are not working and showing that the Unkown Username, please find the screenshot in the secure note.

I would suggest you share the credentials once again after going through the troubleshooting suggested by me and my colleague.

Thanks

Good afternoon @tristup,

I have updated the user details in the secure note and have tried all troubleshooting suggested by you and your colleague.

Here is a 30 second screen recording of the issue:

Kind Regards,
Jason

Hi @hyperdrive_boom,

Good afternoon.
I have replicated your issue by following the way described by my colleague in his first posts by moving very fast. It seems that the click in between any background process is not responding and that is what happens in your case. When you click the second time, the system is busy giving the response of the first task/click.

Thanks for understanding
