Pro Edit Tab Fails to Load

Hello,
When I edit a page or post the Pro Tab does not load. The screen flashes white like its going to load and then fails returning to the Visual/Text modes.

This is happening on both a clean install of Pro 1.2.3 as well as one upgraded from 1.1.1

Looks like there is some permission issues with the URL. I am getting following message

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

As a potential solution, please try following:

  1. Create a page
  2. Name the page (add your title)
  3. Hit the “Save Draft” or “Publish” button
  4. Then click the “Edit in Pro”.
