Hello, this is to test the issue with my pro editor.
Hello There,
Thanks for creating this thread. I have logged to your site and I could not replicate the issue. I created a test page and edited the page in the editor. I was successful with no issues encountered. You can check the link in the secure note.
You might just having a browsing cache issue. Please clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again.
Please also take note that you have caching enabled in your site. You need to clear the cache or temporarily disable it why building the pages. You can check it in Settings > General > Endurance Cache
Thanks for your response. Did you try to edit a post or page? That is the issue I am still having on two sites that have the updated version of the theme. Whenever I create a new post and click the Pro tab, it rolls back to the regular editors. I can access the Pro dashboard from the top of my wordpress dashboard.
The only site without the problem is showing a theme update available. I won’t be installing it.
This is not a cache issue. The site without the problem is set to Advance level 3 caching.
Hi there,
I am talking about http://realdreaminterpretation.com/ as that is the login information we have and we can test.
I checked the website and there were only 2 pages. One is created by my colleague called This is a test and it is working ok. It does not get back to WordPress editor and I can click o the Edit with Pro icon.
The Other one is called Dream Dictionary which is not created with Pro Editor. So you can not use Pro Editor for a page that was not created with Pro Editor.
The same thing is for the posts, none of the posts are created with Pro Editor. You need to create new pages and posts and keep editing them only in Pro Editor to be able to continue using it.
Thank you for your understanding.
I understand how the theme works. If I create a post with the Pro Editor, I can edit with the pro editor. If create a page in a regular editor, I must use the regular editor. That is obvious.
I can see the page he created. For some reason I can use Pro with that page only.
However, if I go to “Create new post” and click the giant icon in the middle of the page, I do not get the Pro Editor. It simply returns me to the regular editor.
I can only do this on my kitchen knives site, which, as I said, has an older version of the theme. I only offered the other sites to give you examples of where it is and where it is not working.
I see, sorry I was thinking that you were not aware of the Pro Editor rules.
Well, that is strange! I just accessed your website and I could add another page with no problem and added an Alert element there.
Would you please use the completely different browser or machine to test? Also whenever I want to add a page, I add a title and then publish the page, then I click on the Pro Editor icon.
Anyway, I think there is a problem with the browser or machine which you use as both my colleague and me managed to add new pages with the pro.
Thank you.
That’s it!! If I save the title post first, then click the Pro tab, it works!
Thanks!!
But still, so you know. If I go to my kitchen knives site with the old theme, I do not have to do that.
mmm… That is strange. As I always do that I have never checked otherwise but I will try to check and see the alternatives.
Thank you.
