Pro Edit Not working/ Pro Header Side and Full-width-boxed layout overlap

Site: https://fantasy-books.live
Pro Version: 1.2.0
Wordpress verion 4.8.2

Problem:

After the new Pro Update, I realized 2 important problems.

  1. I can’t make or edit any posts or pages using pro.

  2. Go to any post and it is no longer centered. The side menu overlaps with the post/page itself.

Can you help?

Hi there,

After updating, be sure to clear all caches you employ (page cacheing, CDNs, CloudFlare etc). This has been known to resolve a significant portion of issues encountered after plugin and theme updates.

If the problem persists, please try to do a plugin conflict. You can do this by disabling all third party plugin and enabling them one by one while checking if the issue is still present.

In case the issue is still there, please provide us with your login details in a secure note so that we can check your setup.

Thank you.

So, for

  1. Apparently, if I save it as a draft first, then it’ll work. I can’t create a new post/page using pro. It first needs to be saved as a draft and then I can ‘Edit’ pro.

To note, this new ‘extra’ step would confuse users of the theme.

  1. It’s not centered. I deleted all the cache and disabled all the plugins. Nothing different. (of course I re-enabled them afterwards, because I have active users).

This only started with the new update with pro. I’m assuming there is a conflict with the Side-Pro-Headers and the new Pro, somewhere.

When I looked using the Pro Headers, I’ve realized that once you add the side-header, it no longer pushes the layout to the side (re-centering it) so that it prevents an overlap like it did before.

I’ve added a secure note with login credentials to take a look.

I have the same problem with the header on the side. It overlaps the content. Please help!

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! Just a few hours ago, we have release a patch version. This should address any issues you are experiencing at the moment. Please update Pro theme to 1.2.1. You can check out our changelog on what has been changed in this release:
https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-pro-1-2-1

Please let us know how it goes.

“Please let us know hot it goes”: The update made everything worse. Please see multiple new threads about the newest update breaking the navbars entirely. And please fix it asap! Thank you.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work.

Not only is the side-header missing 90 %, everything is skewed.

Also, it only centers when you scroll down. You can see it shifting position when you scroll up and down.

========

Now, if you were to use the Header ‘Edit’ Function, the side-header is visible, but it shows it overlapping again.

I have v1.2.1 installed and I’m having the same side header issues.

I have repeatedly cleared the cache on my website and have checked it in incognito/private browsing. Thankfully I only deployed the change to my staging environment.

Hey Guys,

Please be advised that we have released Pro theme 1.2.3. It is now available in automatic updates. You can now update to this latest version. This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you. It’s all fixed.

Perfect. Glad that everything is back to normal now.
