is there a way to disable the dropdown function for the inline menu in my header? i want to display the menu-childs with a smaller font and different color. But i have no idea how to disable the dropdown function.

You can adjust the font size under Sublinks > text
With regards to dropdown, there no setting to disable it, if you would not like to have dropdown, youca n remove sub menu items under Appearance > Menus
