Pro Dashboard Not Loading

Hi Guys,

Hope you can help.
Pro Dashboard doesn’t load.

I’ve tried the following:

  • Deactivated all plugins one by one
  • Switched from Child and vice versa
  • Increased memory limit in wp-config and .htaccess
  • Checked error logs
  • Check PHP version is 7.4 (also tested 8)
  • Purged cache
  • Ensured all plugins are up to date and site is on latest Pro install
  • Wordpress core up to date 5.7.2

Any suggestions for further troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
I can’t get in to look at my custom css. Can you show me the path to view this via ftp?

Thanks in advance

Claire

Hi Claire,

Thank you for writing in, since you have already done all the basic troubleshooting, there is nothing we can advise, but please provide us login credentials in a “Secure Note” so we can take a look.

You mean custom CSS on the Theme Options? No, that is save in a database, so you cant see that via FTP.

Cheers,

Hi Friech,

Thanks for coming back to me.
I’ve provided temp access in the secure note.
There’s a consistent flow of traffic to the site just now but am awaiting for a quiet moment to try reloading Pro again to see if this resolves the issue. It’s probably some rogue css I’ve done  but I can’t access theme options to troubleshoot.
Hope you can help.
Thanks again - I really appreciate it.

Kind regards,
Claire

Hi Claire,

I did not do anything on the site, but I found something when I try to open the Theme Options

Please install and run WP-Optimize to make sure all cache residue is clean and clear. (See the details in the secure note why I think this is a caching related issue)

If the issue persists, I would advise sending the URL to your host and asking them why when requested from a browser it doesn’t match the same content of the file stored on the server.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Hi Friech,
Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately still have no answers. I reverted the site back to Version: 4.2.3 and it is now working.
Will avoid 4.3.3 for the time being.
Keep me posted if you think of anything else. Likewise, I’ll do the same.
Thanks again

Hi Claire,

Can you please copy your live site to a staging server and update the Pro to 4.3.3, so we could troubleshoot the issue freely without breaking your live site.
Please give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks
