I am trying to create a footer for a new site and the footer editor will not let me save a footer and start editing it. I try to create a footer from a template and when that didn’t work I tried to create one from scratch and that didn’t work either. My site is https://moassochomeinspectors.org/ If you need me to provide you with credentials let me know.
Hello Mark,
Thanks for writing in!
I checked the website and created a new footer and added couple of elements. I am able to save and re-edit the footer without any issues. Please try clearing the cache and load footer again.
It’s also mentioned that you are not able to edit the imported footer. I tried looking at the template manager and over there in footer tab I see bunch of footer templates. Can you please let us know the template in question here so we can test the case?
Thanks.
I see the test footer you created. I cleared the cache in chrome and tried to load the MAHI template but it wont let me edit or save it.

Hi @mark2inspect,
I was able to load and edit the MAHI template, you can see that on the homepage. So the issue seems to be happening only on your end, would you mind using incognito/private mode of your browser where there are no browser add-ons and browser caching involve. Also, test it on a separate computer.
Thanks,
I tried everything you suggested but it didn’t work…Not a problem since you were able to create one I just edited the one you created. Thanks for the help.
You’re welcome, @mark2inspect. In case you want to create a new footer again, also try testing another computer connected to a different network.
Thanks.
