Pro / cornerstone not saving

Hi,

There is a single page on a client website that doesn’t accept edits using cornerstone, immediately giving the error “Failed to save - there has been a critical error on this website” upon hitting the save button. I have tried updating the theme, wordpress and all plugins, as well as disabling all plugins, and cleared style settings. The other pages are translations of the page with the error (created manually), so all of the elements are present in all pages, yet just one has this problem. I’ve gone through all of the text looking for unclosed tags, as well as the css, but haven’t been able to find anything. Any ideas?

There might be some different reasons behind your reason. I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.Child Theme Related issue
5.CSS/JS Customization
6.Disabling Cache
7.Disabling CDN

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of these help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

Hey Andreas,

Please go to Tools > Site Health > Info > Server. Your Upload max filesize and PHP post max size is only 32M. You will have to increase it to at least 128M or 256M. You may need to contact your hosting provider if you need some assistance in doing that.
