Pro calling http instead of https on SSL website

Hi,

on https://escaperoombus.nl/ an SSL certificate is installed. Since the latest theme update the font files are no long correctly being included as https url’s. Since several browsers throw errors when a https website tries to included unsecured url’s, these fonts are not included correctly.
Attached is a screenshot taken from Firefox.

Is this a know bug? If not, what could have caused this issue and how could it be fixed?

Thanks!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Pro will use the site url setting in Settings > General > Site URL. If it is not using https, then you must change it. If ever you cannot edit this field, (because in some servers you aren’t allowed to edit this), you will have to manually define it in your wp-config.php file. Please edit your wp-config.php file and insert this lines:

define('WP_HOME','https://example.com');
define('WP_SITEURL','https://example.com');

And do not forget to change the example.com to your correct domain name.

Please let us know how it goes.

The site url is https. I’d almost say off-course…

I checked your website and there was no such an error in my browser console.
Please kindly clear the cache plugin and deactivate it temporarily and also clear your browser cache and check the website again.

Thank you.

Hi Christopher,

Just disabled caching (WP Rocket) once again. The error is still there. See attached screenshot.
It’s all about loading fonts by the look of it, for example "http://staging.topografieindeklas.nl/wp-content/themes/pro/framework/fonts/font_awesome/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.7.0"

Hi there,

That is not the case in our browser. Here is the Chrome:

Here is the Safari:

Please kindly use another browser or clear your browser cache or use another device.

Thank you.

You’re right Christopher. Consider this ticket fixed.
My bed, I should not have bothered you; it was an easy fix after all.

Glad you’ve sorted it out :slight_smile:
