Pro Builder Text element not accepting styling changes

Hello,

Within our Pro Page Builder, we have a Text Element that won’t accept styles being applied. I am having to override this with inline CSS to make it work.

I do have an H2 element in the code but I still think the Pro Text Styling should handle the color change.

I should be able to select White Color from the interface like I have done so many times in the past.

How can we fix this?

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, see Theme Options > Typography > Heading Font Color that is where the black color <h2> is coming from. If you want to color the text from its own settings, please do not wrap your text in h2 or any headline tag.

If you really need the <h2> tag, then use the Headline element instead, then just configure everything from its settings (tag, color, font, size, line-height, etc.).

See what you did with the headline Huan yin! Which means, welcome!, that’s the right way.
