Pro Builder Conflicts (Error)

Hello,

I am redesigning a website currently using the Pro theme. Earlier today, I migrated the customer’s website to a subfolder on their hosting account to develop the website on. After that, I installed Pro on the website with the Child theme. I went to start building a Header using the Header Builder and ran into the old error:

The preview was unresponsive after loading. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing.

Origin URL: http://www.eaglefencecorp.com

Preview URL: http://www.eaglefencecorp.com/dev

I immediately went to the Apex Forums and found many solutions including a troubleshoot guide that was released by the developers and started to perform suggested actions. Included, I disabled all plugins, switched from the child theme to the main Pro theme, cleared my cache, flushed my DNS, and disabled the .htaccess file / reset permalinks, but nothing seems to have fixed this issue for me. I’ve even upped the memory limit for Wordpress hoping that’d do the trick, but no success. There are not any caching plugins or anything of the sort that are active on the website.

If anyone could take a look for me, I’d be so grateful. The URL is http://www.eaglefencecorp.com/dev

Thank you!

Hi,

There could be some data that is still pointing to the main site.

You can try installing this third party plugin in your dev site. Then run a search replace for your old url.

Search for : http://www.eaglefencecorp.com/
Replace with: http://www.eaglefencecorp.com/dev

Make sure that you are running it in your dev site and not in the main site.

Don’t forget to backup your dev site before doing this.

Thanks
