Pro Builder and Search & Filter Compatibility

Hi. I installed the Search and Filter plugin and noticed that it’s not working with the Recent Posts element in Pro.

Basically, I’m trying to create a page like this: https://www.top10mortgageloans.com/ where there shows results and then on the left side, a user can filter the results.

If you take a look at this page: https://wordpress-143333-855551.cloudwaysapps.com/test/ that I created and edited with Pro, you will see that I added a Post index which includes 2 posts and then the Search and Filter shortcode to the right. However, if you choose any of the options in the filters, the results don’t filter even though the filters are very simple (filter by tags).

On the other hand, if I create a similar setup using Gutenberg, it works: https://wordpress-143333-855551.cloudwaysapps.com/?page_id=173&preview=true

Is there any way to get this to work with Pro? Obviously, I’d like to use this plugin with Pro instead of Gutenberg.

Hi Phillip,

The Recent Post element is not meant to work with a filter plugin as it only displays the recent posts depending on the settings in the element. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
